On our third day at Punto Marenco we decided
to take a canoeing trip up a river where we would
be able to see some waterfalls.

After hiking along the beach for about thirty minutes we
arrived at the river. We then divided up into groups of three
and each group got into a different canoe.

As we canoed up the river we look at all the wonderful flora
and fauna that the river had to offered. We saw many different
species of plants and many Basilisk basking on the banks.

We parked our canoes on the shore and hiked up to see the waters.
We followed the rope along the trail that lead us to the waterfalls.
Once we reached the waterfalls we took pictures, swam in the pools
and some of us even jumped off the waterfalls into the pools.
