Linear Mathematics Pivot Calculator Credits
This calculator grew out of some ideas from different sources:
- The idea of using buttons to select the pivot was taken from Professor Al Hibbard from Central College. He presented a talk Creating a Button-Driven Application on this idea at the 2001 Mathematica Developer Conference
- The idea of using Java applets as a vehicle for a linear mathematics calculator is due to the Northern Kentucky University student, Keefe Roedersheimer under the supervision of Professor Charles Frank.
- Professor Charles Frank supervised some earlier students who wrote linear mathematics software.
- Professor Stephen Newman is the author of a linear mathematics textbook. He developed a program to do linear mathematics that would run on a VAX mainframe.
