Based upon what you have learned about comedy and how it was viewed by people of earlier times and cultures, choose any one of the plays we have read this term and analyze it as thoroughly as possible both as a comedy and in terms of its comic devices.  Be sure to give examples from the play and from the handouts on comedy to back up your points.
