In step 1 on
page AC 340, copy the Hours1.mdb database located in the Tutorial.07\Review
folder on your local drive to a floppy disk. Keep the original file as a
backup.
In step 4 on
page AC 340, the comment should read ('Set strName equal to report chosen in the option group)
instead of ('Set strReport equal to report chosen in the option group)
After completing step 5 on
page AC 341, compile the code and print it using the following steps, press
Alt-Print Screen keys to copy the screen display to the clipboard. Open
Word, click Edit menu, then Paste to get screen capture image
into Word document. Type your first and last name, class and section number,
and date at the top of the page using Word's header feature. Steps: Click
the View menu, clickHeader and Footer drop-down menu, type
your first and last name, press the Tab key on the keyboard, type
class number (IFS 110) and section number or time class meets, press
the Tab key on the keyboard, enter current date by pressing
the Alt + Shift + D key combination on the keyboard. Click the
Close button the the Header and Footer floating toolbar.
Click Print Preview button, then click Print Button to print the page. Do
not save the Word document when prompted to do so. This is page 1 of the
outputs.
After completing step 8 on
page AC 341, center the code in the window and print it using the
steps outlined in step 3 above. Make sure all the code for Sub cmdPreview is
visible in the window before printing. This is page 2 of the outputs.
In step 9 on
page AC 341, when testing different combinations, click the Terminated check
box then click the Employee List option button, print the resulting report
as the 3rd page of the outputs. Select Engineering from the Department list
box then click the Employees By Department option button, print the
resulting report as the 4th page of the outputs.
Turn in these 4 pages
together with your disk containing the revised Hours7.mdb file in the
assignment folder with your name.
