Hints and Corrections:

  1. In step 1  on page AC 476, copy the Hours10.mdb database located in the Tutorial.10\Review folder on your local drive to a floppy disk. Keep the original file as a backup.
  2. In step 3  on page AC 476, after typing in the validation rule and text message, press Alt-Print Screen keys to copy the screen display to the clipboard. Open Word, click Edit menu, then Paste to get screen capture image into Word document. Type your first and last name, class and section number, and date at the top of the page using Word's header feature. Steps: Click the View menu, click Header and Footer drop-down menu, type your first and last name, press the Tab key on the keyboard, type class number (IFS 110) and section number or time class meets, press the Tab key on the keyboard, enter current date by pressing the Alt + Shift + D key combination on the keyboard. Click the Close button the the Header and Footer floating toolbar. Click Print Preview button, then click Print Button to print the page. Do not save the Word document when prompted to do so. Circle the changes made to validation rule and text message. This is page 1 of your outputs.
  3. In step 5  on page AC 476, change the hire date in the first record to 08/15/1990, use the steps in step 1 above to copy and paste the error message displayed into Word, then print the page with the header information as page 2 of the assignment.
  4. In step 7  on page AC 476, in letter f, instead of using the dimensions listed, make the text box the exact same size as the label (Employee Data Entry) directly above it. Align the left side of text box to that label.
  5. In step 7  on page AC 476, in letter g, print the form with your header information using the steps in step 1 above. This is page 3 of the assignment. I
  6. Turn in these 5 pages together with your disk containing the revised Hours10.mdb file in the assignment folder with your name.
