| On our last full day in Costa
Rica we went Zip lining down the mountain. Right in the shadow of
the Arenal Volcano. There were eleven cables, and everyone in our
group had a blast. |
| |
First we needed to get harnesses, helmets and
carabiners. |
Then we were shown the ropes, on
how to stop, slow down, turn around and pull yourself if you stopped too
early. |
| |
| Everyone was
anxious after having brief instructions and before our first trip down a
cable. But everyone was geared up and ready to go. |
It was a loooong way down.
Everyone was always connected by at least one cable, at all times.
Safety was the number one concern. |
